Arena Fanboy, and some guys story..
I’ve finally rekindeled my love for computer games, after Elder Scrolls: Oblivion got released. I haven’t gotten the time to play it very much, but I think much of the easter vacation will be spent on it.
Here is a cute story from the elder scrolls forum:
“I remember the rainy evening which I exited the Bloodworks as Arena Grand Champion, what a glorious day. To make it better a handsome looking Bosmer with a ravishingly charming smile runs up to me and declares me as his god. I was so pleased, and of coarse I let him follow me.
We used to run through fields of grass laughing, killing rats, wolves, bears and the odd bandit. Whenever I got down like getting beaten his smile was always there to make it better. I also remember how we used to frolic in the small pools just beneath Arena walls, splashing water and throwing lilly flowers at the guards then submerging into the water to hide… only to get caught because we would giggle so hard that we couldn’t hold our breathes.
I remember the wonderful day when I finally scraped enough money to afford a nice home in Chorrol, fully furnished and ready. My fanboy and I used to spend endless nights beside the fire… him in his basket purring while I brushed his hair…
BUT THOSE DAYS ARE GONE!!
A dreadful day it was today! I stepped into an Oblivion gate only to come out without my soul-mate! I SHALL NEVER REST UNTIL HE IS FOUND! THE JAWS OF OBLIVION WILL REMAIN OPEN UNTIL HE IS FOUND! DAMN THE EMPIRE, DAMN THE DIVINES AND DAMN ALL OF NIRN!”
